The 2017 College Football Regular season has come to an end, and it’s time to see how the Hawks did over the course of their 12-game schedule. Let’s look at the first four games of the Hawks 2017 season in this the second of three parts reviewing the Hawkeyes’ season.

The 2017 Iowa Hawkeyes team, in a word, underachieved. They either played close games and won, won the games they weren’t supposed to win or stepped down to their competition and played poorly. The Hawkeyes ended the year with a record of 7-5 including being 4-5 in the Big Ten.

They were somewhat of a disappointment.

In this second part of a three-part series, we will look at Iowa’s second set of four games. In the second set, they posted a 2-2 record and were somewhat of a disappointment. How did their fare in each game, what was the deciding factor and who was the game’s offensive and defensive star?
