Week 3 9/16 (SAT)

This is a week where I have it circled due to three premier previews for what likely will be in store for us come December and January. This is the rematch from arguably the greatest game ever played. It was the 2005 Rose Bowl between Texas and USC. The rematch is here, as the two have not met since that epic night in Pasadena where Vince Young proved he was worthy of the Heisman. Now, it might be Sam Darnold’s time to put an early statement performance together.

I have my eye on that Friday night game in Tampa and I could see BYU upsetting Wisconsin. The Vols and Gators always seems to pump up the fanbases, but this weekend should be about the ACC.

Throw in those two monster games between the four best from the ACC and all of sudden this slate matches up well with any.

Miami FL at Florida State; Clemson at Louisville; Texas at USC; Illinois at South Florida (FRI); Oklahoma State at Pitt; Notre Dame at Boston College; Wisconsin at BYU; Tennessee at Florida; Kentucky at South Carolina; Northern Illinois at Nebraska; SMU at TCU; LSU at Mississippi State; North Texas at Iowa
