Week 2 9/9 (SAT)

There is not a weekend with three bigger or better matchups that all fans are drooling over. It helps that we have some of the greatest programs to ever take it to the gridiron too. Georgia and Notre Dame in South Bend is a make or break game for the ‘Dawgs. The Irish are coming off a 4-8 season and should not have any issues getting to a bowl game, but they don’t have huge expectations this year. A loss there won’t be a killer since the schedule is fairly manageable to get back to the postseason.

UGA needs to flex its muscles early in the season to garner some confidence and attention. A loss could really leave a mark. A win though will keep them believing and allow their hopes of regaining national relevance. Auburn and Clemson were underrated in last year’s season opener and it will not get unnoticed as much this season.

Baker Mayfield against JT Barrett is a matchup between two of the elite signal-callers in the nation. These juggernauts will tee off on one another and look for it to come down to the wire in what might be the best weekend of the entire college football season.

Oklahoma at Ohio State; Georgia at Notre Dame; Auburn at Clemson; Iowa at Iowa State; Pittsburgh at Penn State; Nebraska at Oregon; Utah at BYU; Boise State at Washington State; TCU at Arkansas; Louisville at North Carolina
