6 Pack Of Questions With A Wisconsin Badgers Football Expert
By Joe Favia
Q: When outsiders think of the Badgers, elite running backs are among the first things that come up. This coming season, that seems to be a mystery. How will that spot shack out?
Noah: Very much TBD and there may not be a bell cow. But the incumbent pick has to be Bradrick Shaw. Just a redshirt sophomore, he doesn’t have Corey Clement’s power but does have more quick twitch and explosiveness to his game.
I’m expecting on only seeing Shaw in Madison for two more years. I think he’s going to be the next star RB at Wisconsin but he may not truly become more widely established until 2018.
Chris James is a Pitt transfer following Chryst to Madison. He is two inches shorter than Shaw and eight pounds heavier. He may add a little thunder to Shaw’s lightning. The biggest key for the Badgers will be keeping the OL healthy. They have to replace Ryan Ramcyzk at LT which is no small detail, but they have an experienced group of returners.
