Key Player: QB Jacob Eason
Will Eason even be the starter for the whole season? Many prefer incoming freshman Jake Fromm to be the guy. Eason though can make all the throws and showed in the Liberty Bowl over TCU that when he takes care of the ball that this team is tough to beat.
Key Stat: Nick Chubb has had 19 career games of 100 or more yards rushing. Perhaps the GOAT of college football backs and players is Herschel Walker, who had 28 career games of 100 or more yards on the ground. If Chubb passes him in his senior season, it would be quite the special career for a player that has gone through quite a bit.
Key Game: 10/28 Florida
If Georgia wants to return to their first ever NY6/BCS bowl since 2007, they must knock off the Gators. A loss would knock them down yet again and prevent them from reaching their potential, which could be extremely high this season. The game will be a defensive slugfest where the first to flinch on offense with a turnover will likely be handed their fate.
