November 18th 2017 @ Kinnick Stadium

Record in 2016: 3-9 (No Bowl Appearance)

Record Vs Purdue (All Time): 38-46-3

The Darrell Hazell and Danny Hope tenures did not turn well in the post Joe Tiller era. The Boilermakers haven’t won 9 games since 2003, and in the last eight seasons since Tiller left, Purdue has averaged a little under four wins a season.

Since Kirk Ferentz has been at Iowa, the Hawkeyes have dominated the series with Purdue going 10-4 in that time period.

Jeff Brohm is bringing winning ways to Purdue. Will it bring back the ‘glory days’ of the early 2000’s? Those kind of expectations should be tempered as they try to get out of the basement of the Big Ten West first.

David Blough could be the key for improvement at quarterback. The defense is still a weakness, and 2017 could be another rough season in West Lafayette.
