September 23rd 2017 @ Kinnick Stadium

Record In 2016: 11-3 (Lost In Rose Bowl)

Record Vs Penn St (All Time): 12-14

What could be the top game on Iowa’s schedule, the date with Penn State will hopefully be more entetaining then the contest in Happy Valley. In a blowout, Saquon Barkley emerged on the national scene, dodging Iowa defenders the likes of which hadn’t been seen since Christian McCaffrey in the Rose Bowl.

James Franklin’s Nittany Lions are loaded coming off the Big Ten Title in 2016, and should be right back in the hunt for a title. Iowa has had magic moments over the last ten seasons against Penn State, and will need another one with a surely packed house for the  ‘black & gold’ game.
