October 21st 2017 @ Northwestern

Record in 2016: 7-6 (Won Pinstripe Bowl)

Record Vs Northwestern (All Time): 50-25-3

Akrum Wadley against Justin Jackson should be a fun matchup for this game. Both are coming into the season with pre-season Doak Walker Award hype, and potentially other National awards in mind.

Northwestern should be in the division title picture this season with a good deal of talent returning for Pat Fitzgerald. The Hawkeyes lost to the Cats last season in Iowa City for the first time since the 2009 game where Ricky Stanzi was injured, and blew dreams of a perfect season for the Hawkeyes.
