Iowa graduated four starters, maybe five if Jok heads to the NBA, who will replace the four graduating seniors next season in the starting lineup.

Kenny: As of right now my starting five for the Hawkeyes next season would be:

Tyler Cook, Ahmad Wagner, Dom Uhl, Peter Jok, and Christian Williams.

Derek: I’m going to go with sophomore Christian Williams, redshirt sophomore Nicholas Baer, sophomore Ahmad Wagner and incoming freshman Tyler Cook. Williams is the only player on the roster with experience playing point at the college level, and Baer has earned his chance to start with his play last season.

Cook simply has too much talent and potential to bench despite his inexperience. Wagner is the one I’m least sure of, as he will face competition from senior Dale Jones and junior Dom Uhl in that spot.

Dylan:  Unless Fran McCaffery brings in a graduate transfer point guard, Christian Williams is going to be the guy there.  He got some valuable experience late in the season last year and will use that to grow and become more of a leader as a point guard for the Hawkeyes.  Jok is a no-brainer at the two, unless he departs for the NBA, which I don’t see happening.  Dom Uhl will start at the three spot.  He has shown he can knock down three point baskets and his length will really bother shooters.

Ahmad Wagner earns the four spot with his athleticism, rebounding, and shot blocking ability.  As I mentioned before, he’s still really raw.  He doesn’t have much of a back-to-the-basket game, but will give McCaffery great minutes scrapping and hustling.

Incoming freshman Tyler Cook will start at the five.  He’s ready for the Big Ten.  He’s so physical down low and has so much talent that it’s hard to imagine him not starting.  He’ll be the guy to replace Adam Woodbury as the man in the middle.
