7. Michigan (20-11, 10-8)
Last Week: 7

Like Ohio State, Michigan had an opportunity to get a key win over an NCAA tournament team, and like Ohio State, Michigan could not come up with a signature win.  Michigan had a week to prepare for its game against Iowa and could never overcome a start that saw the Hawkeyes jump to a 15-5 lead.

From there, the Hawkeyes never relinquished control and the Wolverines find themselves squarely on the NCAA Tournament bubble heading into the Big Ten tournament.  Michigan has a tricky game against Northwestern to start off its tournament run, and a win would get them another opportunity for a signature win against the Big Ten regular season champion, Indiana Hoosiers.

It’s a shame Caris LeVert has missed virtually the entire conference season, and you wonder what the Wolverines would have done with him in the lineup.
