8. Ohio State (19-12, 11-7)
Last Week: 8

Ohio State had an opportunity to get a statement win on Saturday if they could only beat Michigan State on senior day in the Breslin Center.  No biggie, right?  Well, the game went about as planned, as the Spartans shot nearly 70 percent en route to an easy victory over the Buckeyes.

It was the second time the Spartans have defeated Ohio State in the last three games, with a win against Iowa sandwiched in between.  The good news for Ohio State is that they play Penn State on Thursday in its first game of the Big Ten tournament, and Ohio State tends to beat the teams that they should.

The bad news is that if the Buckeyes do win that game, their reward is another rematch with the Spartans, which I think will be much like the first two.  This team is young, so watch out for them next season as they have no seniors on their roster and no players that appear NBA ready.
