10. Penn State (16-15, 7-11)
Last Week: 9

Penn State had a great opportunity to stay on their hot streak and finish at 8-10 in conference play.  They had two winnable home games against Northwestern and Illinois.  While they were able to hang on and beat Illinois, they were handled fairly easily by Northwestern.

Brandon Taylor and Shep Garner both went over 20 points against Illinois, but both struggled against the Wildcats.  Penn State finished conference play at 7-11.  Penn State will take on 7th seeded Ohio State on Thursday night in the second round of the Big Ten Tournament.

Penn State went on a wild run last season as the 13 seed, winning its first two games and battling with Purdue in the first half of its quarterfinal game before running out of gas.
