12. Illinois (13-18, 5-13)
Last Week: 12

No change at the bottom of the rankings as these three teams have stayed consistently bad throughout the season.  Illinois was throttled 81-55 in College Park last Thursday and battled back only to lose a double-overtime thriller against Penn State in its last game of the season.

Malcolm Hill is a very good player for Illinois, but the problem is that he is often times the only player that steps up for the Illini.

Four of Illinois’ five conference wins this season have come against Rutgers and Minnesota, which to put it lightly, is not good.  The good news is that Illinois takes on Minnesota in the first round of the Big Ten tournament.  If they win, the Illini would move on and play Iowa Thursday afternoon.
