Last Week: 2

Despite winning the Big Ten regular season championship outright, it is still not enough to vault the Hoosiers up to number 1 in the power rankings.  Though, any questions about the Hoosiers winning due to the schedule were dismissed this week.

The Hoosiers hung on against a pesky Iowa team on Tuesday and blew out the Maryland Terrapins on Sunday, both without starting guard Robert Johnson.  Not enough can be said of the job Tom Crean and his staff have done this season.

In addition to being the number one seed in the upcoming Big Ten tournament, the Hoosiers will be playing de facto home games with the tournament being in Indianapolis.  If the Hoosiers are able to get by either Northwestern or Michigan they will more than likely face a team looking for revenge in either Iowa or Purdue.
