11. Northwestern (18-11, 6-10)
Last Week: 11

Sorry Northwestern but a 40 point win over Rutgers does not move you up in this week’s power rankings as the Wildcats stay put at number 11.  The ‘Cats did play Michigan tough on Wednesday, as they were winning for the first 30 or so minutes of that game before Aubrey Dawkins and Muhammad-Ali Abdur-Rahkman went off, leading to a 72-63 Wolverines victory.

However, the Wildcats got the best remedy in the Big Ten, a game against Rutgers.  Northwestern was able to rest its starters early as they cruised to an easy 98-59 victory over the Scarlet Knights.  The good news for Northwestern is that center Alex Olah appears healthy again after battling a foot injury for much of conference play  Northwestern travels to the Bryce Jordan Center to take on Penn State before finishing its season at home against Nebraska.
