1. Michigan State (24-5, 11-5)
Last Week: 1

Surprise, surprise, Michigan State just keeps on winning.  They were close with Ohio State in the first half last Tuesday before blowing them out in the second half, leading to an easy victory.   Then they ran over a Penn State team that had been playing well, winning 88-57.

Denzel Valentine will almost certainly be the Big Ten player of the Year and he continues to be a difference maker for the Spartans.  MSU has won 10 of its last 11 games since an inexplicable loss at home against Nebraska in late January.  Michigan State ends the season with a road game against Rutgers before finishing up its season Saturday afternoon at home against Ohio State.  The Spartans are a team that nobody wants to see in March.
