Released are the fresh results of verified Twitter polls. Answered are the important questions such as whats the best location to go to are in Iowa City when you don’t have a ticket to the game.

First, when considering where to go on a big football/basketball weekend, the options are vast and plentiful. When considering where to venture, it would depend on one’s mood, and preferences. If you are looking to party DC’s or Summit may be the move. While trying to sit down and enjoy the game, The Vine or Brother’s provides a great ambience. Here is the results of a small poll on the must go-to locations in Iowa City:

Brothers took the prize in this poll. Brothers has 20 locations Nation-wide, but the Iowa City one is perfectly located, and has a lot of space for Hawkeye fans to spread out. The Vine was also a popular choice with its 2 locations in the Iowa City area.

If you are inclined to choose one of the 10% of the other selection, please comment below on which you would select. With Twitter limiting the voting options to four, many others could be in the competition for best location to go-to.

Another topic that was polled upon was which Hawkeye undrafted free agent would make the biggest rookie impact in 2017?

Winning by a considerable margin was running back LeShun Daniels. Joining a crowded backfield with the Super Bowl Champion Patriots, Daniels could be the bruising, touch yards back that Bill Belichick needs with the departure of Lagarrette Blount. Riley McCarron could be a sleeper to make an impact in Texans camp as a slot receiver and special teamer.

Amongst the drafted Hawkeyes, former Jim Thorpe Award winner Desmond King won the poll as most likely to make a rookie impact:

King who could be the ‘steal of the draft’ by the Chargers in the 5th round, could see the field right away, and make his presence felt in the punt return game as well. It will be interesting to see how George Kittle and CJ Beathard acclimate to offensive guru Kyle Shannon’s offense in year 1. Please check out my thoughts on Jaleel Johnson joining Minnesota at The Viking Age.
