Oh how I miss watching the Iowa Football team take the field on Saturday’s.  Whether I was inside Kinnick Stadium watching them take down Big Ten opponents, tailgating with a bunch of my friends watching it on a flat screen, or sitting at home screaming at the TV like they could hear me, it didn’t matter to me.

It was a wild year that saw Iowa record their first ever perfect regular season, a trip to the Big Ten Championship game, and their first Rose Bowl appearance in over 20 years.

There were a lot of great performances over the course of the season and I’m here to give you the top five.  Who do you think makes the cut, will C.J. Beathard appear on the list? What about Desmond King, Jordan Canzeri, Tevaun Smith, or Leshun Daniels?

I had to rack my brain hard, and it was tough to nail down the five best, but I’ve got them for you.

Let’s take a ride.
